Off-Road Race Cars
Before I began racing motorcycles, I was interested in off-road buggies and racing with a few of the guys in our Club - Checkers Off-Road .
I raced with several of the members; George Seeley, SCORE champion, Bob Wright, Mike Duenas, Richard Young, Jim Greenway, Billy McCool to mention a few. Before I had my driver's license, I had the opportunity to actually get some seat time behind the wheel with Justin LaCore and his brother. Justin built a really cool class 10 car. At an MDR race in Barstow, I got fast lap honors.
